What it can and cannot do
What it does
Reads tables from up to three images, including a second table such as a price list. Suggests a formula, explains it part by part and lists the functions it uses with links to their guides.
What is checked
Our engine computes the formula on the tables it read, right in your browser. If the formula uses a function the engine does not support, it is shown as “couldn’t check” instead of guessed.
What it cannot do
It cannot promise a correct formula. A blurry or cut-off table can be misread, and your workbook is not changed: you copy the formula yourself. Always test it on your own data.
Your screenshots are not stored by FormulaCamp. They go to our AI provider only to read the tables, so crop to the table and leave out confidential or personal data.

Can I turn a screenshot of a table into an Excel formula?
Yes. Add 1 to 3 screenshots of your tables, say what the formula should calculate, and the AI reads the tables and suggests a formula. FormulaCamp then checks the formula on the tables it read, in your browser.
Which images can I upload?
PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to three at a time. Large images are resized in your browser before they are sent. Crop each screenshot to the table for the best reading.
What if the AI misreads a cell?
The tables it read are shown next to the formula. Fix a misread cell or a top-left cell and the check reruns as you type. AI can misread screenshots, so compare the tables with your own and test the formula in your workbook.
Are my screenshots stored?
No. FormulaCamp does not store the screenshots, your request or the answer. The screenshots go to our third-party AI provider, named in the Privacy Policy, only to read the tables. Do not upload confidential or personal data.
Who can use formulas from screenshots?
Subscribers: it is included in Pro and Pro + Exams, with fair-use limits. You sign in with Google first. The page itself is open to everyone.
Does it work for Google Sheets or other spreadsheet apps?
The formulas are written for Excel. Many common functions behave the same in Google Sheets, but test the result there.
