Apply a reorder rule
Return Reorder if the stock of the item in E2 is below its reorder level, otherwise OK.
Formula: =IF(VLOOKUP(E2,A2:C6,2,FALSE)<VLOOKUP(E2,A2:C6,3,FALSE),"Reorder","OK") → Reorder
Independent practice for Excel skills often screened in hiring: exact lookups, reorder logic, worked answers. Not affiliated with Indeed.
FormulaCamp is not affiliated with Indeed. This is independent practice; it does not reproduce or predict exact Indeed or employer questions.
If a job application sent you an Excel skills assessment through Indeed or an employer's hiring tools, the exact questions are chosen by that employer or provider and can change. FormulaCamp has no access to them and does not reproduce them. What this page offers is independent practice for the general spreadsheet skills such assessments tend to screen: reading a table, looking up a value, applying a simple rule, and summarizing.
The live sheet is a small supplies list with stock on hand and a reorder level for each item. Your task is an exact lookup: return the stock of the item named in E2. The worked answers then apply a rule (should this item be reordered?), count how many items sit below their reorder level, and total the stock. Those three moves, look up, decide, and summarize, cover a surprising share of entry-level office spreadsheet work.
Before you rely on any practice, read the instructions you were given. They state the time limit, the allowed tools, and what the employer wants to see. Use this page to warm up your fundamentals, not to guess questions. A free four-task Sample mock exam is available if you want a timed run, and the Excel assessment test practice page covers cleanup-style tasks.
Your turn: in F2, return the stock on hand for the item named in E2, using an exact-match lookup.

How many items have stock below the reorder level on the same row?
Formula: =SUMPRODUCT((B2:B6<C2:C6)*1) → 2
What is the total stock across all items?
Formula: =SUM(B2:B6) → 215
No. FormulaCamp is independent and not affiliated with Indeed. This page practices general spreadsheet skills only.
There is no way to know. Employers and assessment providers choose and change their own questions, so use your instructions as the source of truth.
Totals, counts, conditions with IF, exact lookups, and simple cleanup are the common core. Make sure you can explain each result you produce.
The last argument asks for an exact match. Without it, VLOOKUP may do an approximate match and return a neighboring row.
